Fae Raven

I actually can’t believe I have left it this long to share any of the images (other than our cosplay publication) I shot of Fae Raven!

This beauty & I first worked together when I was back in university, about 11 years ago. We then worked together a year later when I was putting a charity calendar together to raise money for the Sophie Lancaster foundation – Fae was my February.

Fae hadn’t shot in a while since this shoot, but you wouldn’t have thought it. She is a complete natural, and so lovely to work with!

We shot such a variety that day. Did a bit of lingerie with natural light, shot some latex by Shhh Couture, they even made us a lovely green bikini shoot! and did a little bit of cosplay. It was honestly such an effortless shoot, and was so lovely to work with again after all this time. I can’t wait for us to arrange something else in the future!

Gothic Culture Magazine #20 - Elixir Black

Gothic Culture Magazine

It’s been a week since my last update, I am getting a bit better with remembering.

This is another publication post, my last for a while as I am on a slight break. I was excited to get the cover of this month’s Gothic Culture Magazine with Elixir Black! We were not expecting a 2nd cover from our shoot on her UK visit. But we were very excited about it non the less! This shoot featured some gorgeous latex sent to us by Catalyst Latex, who I have worked with numerous times before in the past.

We shot these series of images in my studio, and also my dining room. I love how the red dress looked with the dark blue walls of my dining room, and I threw in a red gel to really bring out these images.

I am going to enjoy my time off from shooting for a bit, but I know I will be dying to get back to it, as I can’t stand being away too long. But DIY has to take precedence at the moment, and I only get my weekends to do it (same with shooting). I already have a list of people to work with once I return, so I can’t wait to start creating again!

Magnifique Magazine #97 - Elixir Black

Magnifique Magazine

Happy Friday!

It has been a nice shorter week this week thanks to the bank holiday Monday.

I am now on my break from shooting, I definitely burned myself out the last few months, so needed to take a step back and recharge myself.

Today, I had my latest magazine cover come out with Magnifique Magazine! I am so glad they picked this set for a cover, as I had already imagined the image they selected being a great cover choice! I love this set I shot with Elixir Black, and I am so tempted to edit a few more from this look. It was so hard to narrow them down, so I think I may have to do a couple more! The colours, and her outfit just compliment each other so well together.

I will be doing some more posts sharing some other looks that we shot, so look out for those. I also have another publication I am waiting on before I can share certain images! Make sure to check out the bottom of this post for the behind the scenes reel of this shoot!

Have a good weekend!

Elixir Black - Femme Rebelle Magazine

Femme Rebelle Magazine

I have been a little bit quiet recently as we had a long weekend away to Prague, which was lovely. I might do a post on that this month, as I took so many images!

It’s unbelievable it is May already, but here we are! A month ago today I got to work with the Australian beauty Elixir Black whilst she was visiting the UK. Yesterday some of our images were published in Femme Rebelle Magazine, below are the tearsheets! I loved this shoot, she was an absolute delight to work with, and she rocked these lingerie sets by Lingerie by Velveteena Leigh!

This is another look we did on our shoot. This was shot in a corner of my dining room. In totaly we shot about 7 looks, so I still have more to share but I am waiting on those to be published a well! I have shared the behind the scenes time lapse as well.

Nocturnus Magazine #7 - Miss Lauren C

Nocturnus Magazine

I hope everyone has had a lovely bank holiday weekend. In my last post, my aim was to get all my editing done. Did I manage that? Not quite, but I did get the bulk of it finished, and the rest can wait until after my holiday this week.

I did also shoot a new Easter self shoot quickly Friday, where I got to try out my newly purchased lighting modifier, a Optical Snoot. I have never used one of these before, so I went a bit simple with it for starters, and I am looking forward to experimenting with it further, and properly on a model shoot! Look below for a peek!

I am now having a slight break from shooting, due to starting more DIY & renovations at home. Plus, the amount of editing I have had lately has exhausted me. I am a full time retoucher, so it sometimes feels like it is never ending (as much as I love & enjoy doing it) but I do need to make myself have a break sometimes.

Last week, I had another front cover get released. This was from my shoot with Miss Lauren C. She wanted to use my coffin which I have in my studio, which acts as both shelving for my light stands, and batteries, and a prop! I wanted to have a bit of a play with colours in this set, and I think these chosen ones complimented the theme really well.

Even though I will be quiet on the shoot front, I am certainly not quiet on the work I have to share. I just finished editing my shoot with Elixir Black, and I will be looking to get some of those published, and I then have my duo shoot with her & Konstantine to finish. Plus, a lot of unseen shots I have yet to share, and reels to create. So, I will be aiming to keep this blog updated as much as possible.

Konstantine - New Shoot

I am still working my way through my images from my shoot with Elixir Black, and also my duo shoot with her and Konstantine.

But, before our duo shoot Konstantine and I did a quick shoot, he fancied doing something on a red backdrop, and I am glad we did these as I think they came out really well! The red just makes all the black pop!

Check out the gallery below.

It was Felicia’s (Elixir Black) birthday on Monday, so I had quickly edited this photo from our duo shoot on the Sunday, and I really love this shot! I haven’t even started to share the images from our shoot the weekend before yet, I can’t wait to get them finished!

I plan to catch up with my backlog this weekend! Wish me luck.

Masquerade Cosplay Magazine #19 - Fae Raven

Masquerade Cosplay Magazine

Monday again!

I was originally supposed to shoot on Saturday, but that ended up getting postponed due to the model having a family matter. I was intending to keep my weekend clear to catch up with some editing, but I ended up booking a last minute shoot on Sunday, with Elixir Black again, and also Konstantine. It turned out these two knew one another, and were looking to do a duo shoot, so I jumped at the opportunity. I did a single set with each of them quickly, and we shot 3 different looks in a similar setting. I am really excited to edit their photos! I forgot to take any back of the camera shots as It was a quick shoot, but I did record time lapse videos to make more reels!

Last week, I also had this great cover come out from my shoot with Fae Raven. I submitted our Boba Fett latex images to Retro Lovely Magazines. Masquerade magazine which is for Cosplay. I wasn’t expecting another cover, but I was really pleased to see it there.

I still have the rest of the images from our shoot to share, so keep a look out for a separate post for those! But below is the time-lapse reel from this Boba Fett look!

Xpressions Magazine - Issue #348 - Constance Peach

Xpressions Magazine

I had every intention to update over the weekend, but time got away from me and I ended up being absolutely wiped out from my shoot on Saturday.

I had this exciting magazine release come out on Friday the 1st of April. It was a bit later than usual due to the publishers having network issues, but I am excited to now share it. I honestly haven’t been trying for covers really, I just enjoy shooting and wanted to submit more. I do not expect to get this many more again but It has felt nice having my work seen in that way.

I loved this shoot with Constance, we got some great images. Check out the inside tearsheets below!

On Saturday I had an amazing shoot with the gorgeous Elixir Black. She was an absolute sweetheart, and we shot so much great stuff. I really can’t wait to get cracking on with the editing for this! We were sent some gorgeous garments from Lingerie by Velveteena Leigh & Catalyst Latex.

Check out below for some sneaky back of the camera shots. This wasn’t even all the looks we did!

Elixir Black back of the camera peeks!

Magnifiqué Alternative Edition Issue 82 - Miss Lauren C

Magnifiqué Alternative Edition

I can’t believe it’s the end of March already. The start of the year began so slow, and now I feel like it’s starting to zoom past!

But, here I am with another magazine cover. I haven’t intentionally set out for covers. I just had a goal of trying to submit more this year, whether I continue to do it as often as I have, who knows as sometimes you have to sit on images for a while before you can start using them.

This particular set I shot with Lauren, was shot in my dining room. We had already actually started posting the images online, when she was contacted by the editor of Magnifique Magazine, as they wanted to use the images for their next cover. I am really glad they chose these, as they really stand out with that blue background!

This weekend I am excited to be working with the gorgeous Elixir Black. She contacted me last month as she is heading over from Australia, and wanted to work together whilst visiting. I didn’t even hesitate with my answer, as it was an immediate yes! We have been sent some amazing designs from some very talented designers, and I can’t wait to see what we produce!

Be sure to look out for the back of the camera shots!

Modsquad Issue #2 - Olivia Sumners

Modsquad Magazine

I hope everyone has had a good week. I have been off from my full time job (Retoucher), and I really lucked out with the weather! It has been lovely having some downtime, but also planning for shoots coming up. I also got the news of a new cover with Modsquad, this time with the lovely Olivia at Lil’ Sweetheart Latex. Olivia is someone I am lucky enough to call a close friend. We met last year when we first worked together, it turned out we don’t live far from one another, and we just immediately clicked. I couldn’t resist us shooting her Cowgirl inspired latex outfits, and we had fun with these! Have a look below for a little behind the scenes reel!

Yesterday, I spent the day shooting the gorgeous Fae Raven. Fae & I first worked together back in 2011 when I was in university, and then again in 2012 when I wanted to shoot a charity calendar to raise money for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. I can’t believe it has been 10 years since our last shoot, but it was so great to be able to work with her again, and hopefully there won’t be such a big gap between our next shoot! Look before for some back of the camera shots!

Next weekend I am working with the awesome Elixir Black whilst she is visiting the UK, and I am really excited for that shoot!
